I had lunch at Thala two days in a row while on a business trip. I was treated like royalty at this establishment, which serves excellent cuisine with refined flavors. The service is exceptionally good, discreet, cordial, and remarkably efficient. The dining room is tastefully decorated and offers the perfect tranquil atmosphere for lunch. Finally, the tableware, with its traditional designs, is an invitation to indulge. As for the dishes, the lamb tagine with apricots and prunes was perfectly balanced, with a flavorful sauce that wasn't overly sweet. The earthenware tagine arrived piping hot, allowing me to enjoy my meal piping hot until the very last bite. The second day, I ordered the mechoui, and I must give a special mention to the chicken skewer, which was meltingly tender and perfectly crispy. It pairs wonderfully with the slightly smoky chili sauce, which I highly recommend asking for. Finally, don't miss the gourmet coffee. The makroud that comes with it is worth the trip alone (I even asked for some to go, I loved them so much). An excellent place for a delightful culinary experience.
